Dermavisc® is a natural, pure and transparent gel used to correct and reshape facial wrinkles and creases, whilst also making the lips look plumper.The Dermavisc® product range currently consists of two dermal fillers, Dermavisc® smooth and Dermavisc® ease. Also, the facial creams Hyamin™ E and Hyamin™ SBT can be used as a complement to the Dermavisc® product range. Both Dermavisc® and Hyamin are based on the natural substance hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is an endogenous substance that helps keep the skin moist and smooth.

Dermavisc® consists of a highly purified form of non-bacterial hyaluronic acid that has a naturally high molecular weight. This gives a very smooth and flexible producy, with a high stability and viscosity. The hyaluronic acid used in Dermavisc® is identical to the hyaluronic acid present in the body with regard to composition, which means that Dermavisc® is well tolerated by the body, and thus will not be rejected or form indurations under the skin.

The hyaluronic acid in Dermavisc® has been cross-linked to provide extra durable and lasting results. However, the effect is not permanent, and the product will be absorbed by the body after a period of time. The durability of Dermavisc® varies from individual to individual and is dependent on various factors, such as the skin structure of the treated person, age and lifestyle. Regular smoking or a large intake of alcohol have an adverse effect on the treatment. This is also the fact for very streneous training and regular use of solarium or exposure to strong sunshine.
